Saving the Planet can Save YOU Time and Money

Lets face it,  More people are paying attention to their checkbooks and less attention to their health and planet these days.  The big question is why is it so cheap to destroy our bodies with processed foods and harmful products when it’s so expensive for healthcare that is not very effective?  Well my friends,  the time has come to embrace simpler times with simpler measures.  On the healthcare side of the spectrum you know where I stand.  I am a huge proponent of preventative medicine and taking measures to avoid getting sick and injured.  This includes at least a monthly trip to your acupuncturist but more importantly it includes education about foods and what you are consuming.  I would also put cleaning products into this list because people forget that if you can smell it,  you are ingesting it and most cleaning products are toxic.  Finding a good cleaning product is not as expensive as some think.  Some examples are Bon-ami, Melaleuca, and Eco-Sense.

On the next level you have the products that can save you both time, money and the planet all in one small change.  These new GE Energy Smart LED Bulbs only need to be changed every 17 years and with their project plant a bulb GE plants a tree for every bulb sold during the event.  This is a great way to save all the way around and feel good doing it.  Lets use this example to create a better way of living.  Start with light bulbs, farmers markets, and buying local.  These small changes can make large effects on the planet, your community, and yes it will also effect your body.
